Here I am! Finally. I returned to my
family, my friends, and my bikes. Well, finally resume my life with my
passions. Basically there are no bad state , my fellow workers in place
of Ithaca NY, have done everything to make me feel at ease, starting with
Dan M, with him we had a very good agreement,
here with me and Paolo, at the last evening spent together. At work not
often you find people with such a spirit of collaboration. And I must
also thank Dennis B, D Pat, Shawn B, Randy M, DJ H, Russ E, F Doug, Dean
R, Brian A, George S, and Sean K, with a "very welcome" gesture, has made
available a machine for espresso, which is practically impossible to find
in U.S. And even the ladies of the canteen,
, which glaze over his eyes when I asked her to fill my sandwich with
the stupendous hot chilly pepper, the green one, the mythical jalapeņo.
Anyway! The thing that bothered me most was that it could not continue
to use my bike, especially in the morning going to work in. I do not want
to stop the healthy habits I have. Then talking with Dan of my passions
and what I like to do, told me he had something in mind, something I could
not see large photos, but the big surprise for me was when coming to the
hotel I found a GT front bicicle, in my room.
It did not seem real, do not know if you would make me a joke, or if you
wanted to see if I would have used, but I do, every good day I used to
ride, just two kilometres were OK, but how nice to reach the plant in
bike .
.
From there, to try to organize an evening ride with the local bikers,
it took very little. Around it, nature is so great, and the forests are
composed of a fairly dense vegetation, and in that season also quite wet,
I must say that I struggled a bit to stay with the best, but the fact
of being there in the woods , riding with those guys, that made me feel
one of them, for me, it was all very special, I must thank them all, starting
from Brian A,
which is the most debonair biker that led me to the woods to him much
family, "THANKS TO EVERYBODY"
Always seeking to combine business with
pleasure, given the geographical proximity, it would be a shame not to
visit one of the most admired natural spectacles in the world, I'm talking
about the Niagara Falls. So in the morning, with Paolo and Guido, after
a copious breakfast, we take the car, and so at a time in the north, going
up the territories of the Finger Lakes, to reach the most comfortable
and flowing freeways. The trip was very relaxing, the radio played country
and blues songs, which in those landscapes, gave different feelings than
usual.
That season, the colors of nature are very beautiful , green, yellow and
deep red delight our curiosity,
and out of the little house of wood along the route symbols that are clearly
exposed the nature offers after this season. And so it did not take much
to
get to the park off the Niagara Falls.
I did not know what to expect, hence the show could being guaranteed .
In fact, from the U.S. side view of the falls has not a good perspective
, and once walked through the bridge, linking the two states, we could
not even get us on the boat that goes up under the falls. Although there
has been given something to protect us from the water, we took a good
wash, but the experience I liked. The performance seen from below, amid
the majestic falls, leaves you speechless for a moment, amid the turbulence
of water jets, people seemed crazy.But did not last long.

Before returning to the United States, we stopped to visit the village
before the falls, which is a bustling town where people seem to think
more fun than anything else.
We had a good weekend and it was a beautiful experience.
